Each year the state provides funding to support the general operations and student support functions of 116 community college campuses. This site provides summary information related to California Community College budgets and also provides links to several organizations that play important roles in the development and implementation of the budget.

- The California Legislative Analyst's Office includes fiscal and policy advice to the state's Legislature.
- Primer on Proposition 98. Prop 98 is the formula for setting a minimum annual funding level for K-12 schools and community colleges.
- The Multi-Year Roadmap Between The Newsom Administration and the California Community Colleges outlines mutually prioritized goals, expectations, and accompanying outcome measures.
- The 2026-27 Shared Advocacy Request describes the funding needed for the California Community Colleges system to meet student's educational needs in the state.
