In November 2018, the Camp Fire devastated parts of Butte County, including the town of Paradise. One year later, Butte College is leading efforts to rebuild the tight-knit community by offering new construction programs that are putting both new students and long-time residents on a path to a good-paying job in the town they call home.
You can help support those affected by the California wildfires. The California Community Colleges Wildfire Relief Fund serves as a statewide fund for individuals or organizations who would like to donate in support of California Community College students and staff affected by wildfires. Funds raised will help community college students replace critical supplies like laptops, cell phones, books, backpacks and other essential materials in order to continue their education.
