The Vision Resource Center is an online learning and collaboration platform that helps you prioritize your professional development. Available to all employees of the California Community Colleges, the Vision Resource Center offers expertly curated learning modules designed to elevate your skills while supporting your personal and professional growth.  

Alongside the thousands of learning modules available to you, the platform hosts online communities connecting you with your peers across the state, as well as a comprehensive events calendar to help you find your next event—whether in-person or online.

2025 Fiscal & Policy Webinar Series

Registration for the 2025 Fiscal & Policy Webinar Series is now open! Join the Chancellor’s Office for these quarterly comprehensive and informative webinars on issues related to college finance, state budgets, fiscal policy, innovative and promising practices, and federal issues. Once registered, you will gain access to all 2025 Fiscal & Policy Webinars, receive email reminders, and will not need to register again. 

Don’t forget to follow the Fiscal & Policy webpage for recorded webinar videos and PowerPoint slides.

The Chancellor's Office has announced the dates for the 2025 System webinars. These monthly webinars cover systemwide topics that are of importance to everyone affiliated with the California Community Colleges.

All webinars start at 9:00 a.m. on the following dates:

WebAIM Accessible Document Training Cohorts

Registration is open for WebAIM Accessible Document Training, sponsored by the California Community Colleges Accessibility Center. This training is designed to provide participants with the skills to create, evaluate and optimize accessible documents in Word, PowerPoint and Adobe PDF. A bonus module on Excel accessibility is also included. 

The next cohort is February 3 - April 30 and limited to 135 participants. 

Additional Course Benefits: 

  • Free to California community college staff and faculty! The Accessibility Center is covering these costs for the system (regularly $125 per person). 
  • Certificate of Completion: Participants who successfully complete the self-paced course and assessments will be awarded a Certificate of Completion. 
  • Continued Access: People earning certificates will have ongoing access to review course material after the cohort closes. 

Please Note:

  • A valid California Community College-affiliated email address (.edu) is required to register. 
  • Once registered, participants must accept the course invitation. Enrollment is activated upon completing the “Terms of Use” quiz. 
  • The Accessibility Center is covering the cost of course enrollment once per person.  
  • The course requires approximately 10 hours of work and must be completed within 60 business days (excluding weekends and U.S. holidays). Participants who do not finish the course within this timeframe will lose access.

Western Association of College and University Housing Officers (WACUHO) Annual Conference and Exposition (WACE)

Registration is now open for WACE 2025 on April 6-9 in Lake Tahoe. Traditionally, WACE attracts over 250 attendees, including entry-level, mid-level, and executive-level professionals from various areas including Residential Life, Facilities, Business Operations, Student Conduct and Summer Camps / Conferences.  

The exhibit hall features more than 45 corporate partners showcasing their latest strategies for enhancing student success and well-being, including software management, furniture solutions, laundry services, and more.  

Additionally, there are over 50 customized programs tailored for the region, with participants from community colleges, private schools, UC system schools, CSU system schools, and the Nevada system schools.
