Undocumented Student Success Week is a systemwide call to action that uplifts the voices, resilience, and contributions of students impacted by immigration status.

We are thrilled to announce that registration is open for the California Community Colleges Undocumented Student Success Week (USSW). This year’s theme, Together in Purpose, Grounded in Belonging, calls on institutions, educators, and policy leaders to take bold, equity-driven steps in designing systems that affirm students’ identities, empower their educational and career journeys, and uplift entire communities.

Throughout the week, October 13-17, the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office (Chancellor’s Office) encourages colleges to host local workshops, policy forums, and campus events focused on reimagining support structures—centering cultural affirmation, trauma-informed practices, and access to life-changing resources like experiential learning, fellowships, and entrepreneurship pathways. Together, we move beyond barriers to create a future where all students thrive.
