We harness the power of research, data analytics, and accountability to shape a brighter future for all students.

The Research and Data Analytics Unit provides support to the Chancellor's Office and individual colleges to improve student success, facilitate transfer and career technical education, and close equity gaps. We help California Community Colleges staff to make better evidence-based decisions and drive continuous improvement to meet the goals of Vision 2030 through data analysis, research, program evaluation, and visualization.

Our team works to build a culture of data-informed decision making across the Chancellor’s Office and monitor state-wide goals for community college student success. We strive to ensure students from all backgrounds achieve their full potential. Our division is responsible for the following:

Provide research and evaluation leadership of program effectiveness to support systemwide decision-making and inquiry.

The Chancellor's Office is pleased to work with external individuals, agencies and organizations interested in conducting research on California Community College students or the system.
