Nov. 23, 2022 - Vision in Action No.97
Equal Employment Opportunity Initiative Northern California Promising Practices Showcase
Friday, December 2, 2022 | 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
You are invited to the Equal Employment Opportunity Northern CA Promising Practices Showcase hosted on December 2nd at San Jose City College. A first of its kind, this event will bring together the leaders of the system to advance the cultural transformation of the most extensive system of public higher education and one of the largest employers in California.
Dr. Abdimalik Buul, Visiting Executive of Educational Excellence and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Programs, invites the system to stand alongside state leaders as we work to accomplish the vision to increase the diversity of the California community college workforce. Listen and engage in community learning around statewide promising EEO practices. The event is centered on learning about the institutions statewide that are leading the system with innovative EEO strategies that can be scaled systemwide. Through this showcase, we plan to model promising collaborative practices about pre-hiring, hiring, and post-hiring efforts. We encourage you and your colleagues to register now here.
