CCC | Equity-Centered Counseling Playlist
Equity-centered counseling is critical to student success. By focusing on the core skills necessary for effective counseling, we can create an inclusive and supportive environment for all students. The “Equity-Centered Counseling Curriculum” reviews the foundations of equity-centered counseling as well as what you need to know about equitable placement and strategies for counseling different populations.

New Content in the Vision Resource Center
The Vision Resource Center’s Cornerstone Content Subscriptions provide all California community college employees access to expertly curated courses designed to advance their professional development goals. These courses are continually refreshed to ensure the materials are relevant and timely.
Courses like “Project Management Fundamentals Microlearning Bundle (The H-Files)” and “How to Stop Overcommitting” are just some of the newest additions to arrive in the Vision Resource Center.

New Community for Vision-Aligned Reporting
We recently opened the Vision Resource Center Vision-Aligned Reporting Community to all college practitioners involved in the VAR project. In this community, we encourage sharing ideas, questions, and collaboration!
The VAR support project team provides updates via email and by using this online community. We will post updates of new information, resources, trainings, etc., weekly so everyone is aware of specific changes as they come out. We welcome any feedback, questions, or concerns, as these are critical to continuously improving the materials/resources we share.

Chancellor's Office System Webinars
The Chancellor’s Office is continuing to host a webinar on the first Wednesday of each month from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. Each webinar will cover content that is significant for improving student success and meeting the goals of Vision 2030. Representatives from colleges/districts, students, and or representatives from partner organizations will be present to share their experiences and best practices.
We encourage you to log in for as many webinars as possible in 2024. Registration for the 2024 System Webinars series is required, but you need only register once.

COLEGAS 2024 Annual Conference| COLLECTIVE RESISTANCE: JUSTICIA Y LIBERACIÓN
COLEGAS presents the 2024 COLEGAS Annual Conference on November 4-6, 2024 in Sacramento, California. The COLEGAS mission is to develop, elevate, and increase leadership from our comunidad Latina throughout higher education using liberatory practices.
In the face of systemic oppression, this year’s theme “Collective Resistance: Justicia y Liberación”, calls on us to unite as a comunidad to challenge inequity, advocate for justice and strive for liberation. From higher education to grassroots movements, we strive to work together to dismantle oppressive systems and foster liberation for all.
We welcome faculty, classified professionals, trustees and administrators in the California community colleges, system partners, practitioners, researchers, and community members that align with the conference’s goals.
