Government Relations and College Finance & Facilities Planning Launch Monthly Policy Advocacy Webinars

The Chancellor’s Office Government Relations & College Finance and Facilities Planning divisions are launching monthly systemwide Policy Advocacy Webinars to provide timely updates on major policy decisions affecting the California Community Colleges, including state and federal legislative and budget actions. These webinars are intended for community college leaders who lead and/or support policy advocacy, including CEOs, chief business officers, marketing directors and/or government relations and public information officers, as well as student leaders, policy advocacy organizations and higher education stakeholders.

With a difficult budget year for state revenues and many priority issues occupying the attention of the Legislature in 2021-22, community college advocacy coalitions will be critical to ensure the needs of community colleges and our most vulnerable students are a top priority for policymakers. We hope you will join us in these monthly webinars.

Webinars will take place on the second Friday of each month, unless otherwise noted:

  • Friday, December 11, 2020 at 10 am
  • Friday, January 15, 2021 at 10 am (Rescheduled from January 8th)
