ACCCA Annual Conference
February 21-23, 2024
The ACCCA Annual Conference is the premier event for community college administrators in California. The conference, workshops and seminars help administrators build their resumes and knowledge base. Located in Orange County, 2024's conference theme is Level Up: Challenge Accepted and will feature keynotes from Joaquín Zihuatanejo, Jan E. Estrellado and Ruben E. Canedo. Learn more.
Technology and Distance Learning Symposium
March 1-2, 2024
The Technology and Distance Learning Symposium, hosted by OTAN, is an annual conference featuring engaging, interactive presentations and vibrant discussions. This event is designed to demonstrate effective ways of incorporating technology to enrich the learning experience, expand educational reach through a combination of in-person and online learning, and improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of adult education programs. CSSO Student Services Leadership Conference
March 12-15, 2024
The Chief Student Services Officers Association (CSSO) is inviting all Student Services leaders at all levels (Deans, Directors, Coordinators, as well as faculty and staff) to join them March 12–15, at the 2024 Student Services Leadership Conference. Submit Presentation Proposals for 2024 LGBTQ+ Conference
April 24 - 25, 2024
The 2024 California Community Colleges LGBTQ+ Summit is currently accepting presentation proposals for its annual summit. The Summit will be held virtually April 24 - 25, 2024. The Summit is a space for students, faculty, classified professionals and administrators to focus on this year’s theme: “Rise, Resist, Empower: The Unstoppable Movement for Queer & Trans Liberation”. Proposals are due December 1, 2023. Submit LGBTQ+ Summit Presentations.

CCC | Equity-Centered Counseling Foundations
Introducing the new CCC | Equity-Centered Counseling Foundations module built specifically for California community college employees.
Equity-centered counseling is critical to student success. By focusing on the core skills necessary for effective counseling, we can create an inclusive and supportive environment for all students.
This module covers the fundamentals of equity-centered counseling, including recognizing and working against implicit bias; developing cultural humility; practicing soft skills to improve your interactions with students as well as colleagues; recognizing and working against countertransference; and developing practices of self-care.
Each section is supported with activities to help you practice these strategies as well as resources for further exploration. Together, we can help guide all students toward their goals. View Module.

CCC | Finish Line Scholars Program
Find information on the Finish Line Scholars Program, collaborate to share practices on emergency financial aid and scholarships, engage in dialogue with your colleagues, and ask questions. While this community is open to all, the information and resources will be most relevant to the 34 colleges eligible for grants. The goal of the Finish Line Scholars Program is to support students to ensure they stay on track with their education and complete a degree, certificate, or transfer to a four-year college or university.
