Provide Your Feedback on Vision 2030: A Roadmap for California Community Colleges

The California Community Colleges, under the leadership of Chancellor Sonya Christian, last month introduced Vision 2030: A Roadmap for California Community Colleges. Vision 2030 is an ambitious, equity-focused strategy to help the California Community Colleges to bring college to our students and future learners – and ensure their educational experience delivers what they need to succeed.

Vision 2030 A Roadmap for California Community CollegesVision 2030 has been guided by the Vision for Success (2017), the Governor’s Roadmap (2021), current issues and considerations for the future of our students. The goals are simple yet intentional - equity in success, equity in supports, and equity in access. These goals will guide our work to provide equitable, accessible, innovative and quality higher education to all Californians, regardless of their backgrounds or circumstances. The California Community Colleges is on a path to get more students to their education destinations faster, more efficiently and equitably.

The Chancellor’s Office is supporting colleges in this ambitious goal through four approaches laid out in Vision 2030. We drive policy changes, secure resources, build powerful shared systems and tools, and bring together people that help the community colleges increase equitable access, support and success in their communities.

As we identify specific action in these focus areas, we need your help/input to ensure our actions support your communities’ specific needs. We urge everyone across the system to provide feedback on Vision 2030, which may further help develop the roadmap.
