The State Budget Act provides annual, ongoing funds to support districts in making part-time faculty salaries more comparable to full-time salaries for similar work, as determined through each district’s local collective bargaining process.  If a district achieves parity, its allocation may be used for any other educational purpose.  Small districts receive a base allocation of $50,000, with the remaining funding distributed based on a proportional share of FTES, including any approved emergency conditions allowances.
