Admissions and Records

Admissions and Records professionals play a critical role in supporting students throughout their educational journey—from application and enrollment through degree completion, transfer, and beyond.

Across the California Community Colleges, Admissions and Records offices administer essential functions including admissions, registration, residency determination, transcript and academic record management, enrollment and prerequisite processing, degree and certificate evaluation, graduation, credit for prior learning, and other services that support student access and success.

The California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office provides statewide guidance, resources, technical assistance, and professional development to support Admissions and Records professionals in implementing California Education Code, Title 5 regulations, and other applicable state and federal requirements.
