  • 2023 California Community Colleges LGBTQ+ Summit

    The 5th Annual CCC LGBTQ+ Summit will be held virtually April 19-20, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Join and collaborate with members of the California Community Colleges at all levels. The summit is a space for students, faculty, classified professionals and administrators where we will focus on this year’s theme: “Fiercer Together - Uplifting Queer & Trans Students on Our Campuses” and on improving not only individual community college campuses but encouraging changes at the structural level as well.

  • Three Students Honored with California Community Colleges Board of Governors 2023 Student Leadership Award

    A trio of student government presidents who have shown extraordinary leadership at both their college and in their community have been honored with the California Community College’s annual Student Leadership Award. Amy Huang of De Anza College, Seinna Shaba of Cuyamaca College and Aaron Villarreal of West Hills College Lemoore were recognized March 31 at the Student Senate for California Community Colleges 27th General Assembly in Long Beach. Each received a $1,250 check and a commemorative certificate.
