November 4, 2020 - Vision in Action No. 9;

This is a special edition of the Vision in Action as the nation awaits the results of the historic 2020 election.

California Community Colleges Chancellor Eloy Ortiz Oakley today issued this statement:

“This can be an anxious time as we wait for a complete and fair counting of ballots cast in the presidential election, but I urge everyone in our community colleges family to remain patient and calm as the country works toward a final outcome. The integrity of the election may require a process that continues counting for several days, which is not unusual in our history. Today’s polarized political climate calls on us to exercise reason and faith in our democratic process to help us come together and move our country forward.”

Tracking the Votes

Find unofficial election results on California’s Election Results website. The Secretary of State’s office updates election results as often as new data is received from county elections officials.
