Built with students in mind. That’s the idea behind the new Chancellor’s Office website that launched in June.

The new site meets accessibility requirements and provides an enhanced user experience across desktop and mobile devices. Most importantly, however, the new site is designed for students, prospective students and their influencers, who our research shows make up 65 percent of the more than 1.5 million unique annual visitors to the site. The Chancellor’s Office wants to give these students an easier way to find a college or program, apply and pay for college.

The new site also features a brand new layout, updated navigation and all new photos. Pictures were taken of California community college students, faculty and staff at four campuses across the state.

The site continues to support the business-to-business communications functions that our colleges rely on. However, due to the myriad outdated and inaccessible materials housed on the legacy site, not all content was migrated to the new site. Custom redirects have been configured for the most-visited web pages. Bookmarks to previous Chancellor’s Office web pages will automatically redirect to an appropriate page on the new website, or will be directed to a custom page notifying users content has moved and offering the option to search the site or select from the most popular destinations. Additional content migration is still currently underway and improvements will continue to be made on an ongoing basis.

If you have any questions or concerns about the new website, please contact the Office of Communications and Marketing at communications@cccco.edu. The Chancellor's Office will address each question on a case-by-case basis.
