The Chancellor’s Office administers grants that benefit local districts or the California Community Colleges system as a whole. In the current cycle (2018-2023) there are six primary educational technology grants that leverage Proposition 98 funding in order to support the 116 colleges and 73 districts. Many of these grants were awarded to the California Community Colleges Technology Center at the Butte-Glenn Community College District.
