Wrenna Finche

Vice Chancellor of Fiscal Health and Accounting Wrenna Finche oversees Chancellor’s Office budget, accounting, capital outlay, affordable student housing, financial compliance, and risk management operations in support of promoting district fiscal health and aligning budget policy with the Vision for Success.

Before stepping into the role of Vice Chancellor, she served as the Assistant Vice Chancellor of College Finance and Facilities Planning where she was responsible for division operations in capital outlay planning, financial and compliance reporting, fiscal health monitoring, budget development, and apportionment funding through the Student Centered Funding Formula. Prior to joining the Chancellor’s Office in 2017, she served as a government auditor with the California Department of Finance.

Vice Chancellor Finche ensures that her team supports progress toward meeting the Vision for Success goals by always designing and deciding with students in mind and using data to make sound decisions. As a CPA and former auditor, she is committed to integrity, accountability, and transparency in financial and compliance reporting.

Vice Chancellor Finche earned her bachelor’s degree in history from UW Madison and her master’s degree in business administration, with an emphasis in management information systems, from Chico State University.  She also attended Butte Community College, where she gained a deep appreciation for the role the community college system plays in higher education.
