Articulation Officers Grant
Articulation Officers have been allocated an Articulation Grant in the amount of $4,000 for the 2008-09 fiscal year. As part of the compliance process for receiving and spending the grant funds, reporting of the actual 2008-09 expenditures is required by October 1, 2009.
MAP Grant
The My Academic Plan (MAP) Grant is a one time grant to study the feasibility of expanding the South Orange County Community College District's (SOCCCD) student transfer planner online application system wide. This Grant was awarded to South Orange County CCD May 1, 2008 and concluded June 30, 2009.
C-ID Grant
The Course Identification Number System (C-ID) is a faculty-driven program to assign supranumbers to lower divison transfer courses, with the objective of enhancing articulation efforts and supporting transfer efforts through the establishment of a common course numbering system. Initially launched by a two-year pilot grant in 2007-2009, a new fifty month grant was awarded to Los Rios Community College District on June 1, 2009.
Transfer Leadership Center Grant
The Transfer Leadership Center (TLC) Grant is a one time grant with the objective to develop the Transfer Counselor Web Site and Transfer Leadership Center. This grant was awarded to South Orange County Community College District on June 1, 2007 and concluded on June 30, 2009. Select here for more information regarding this grant
Transfer Counselor Web Site Grant
Managed by Butte College, the Transfer Counselor Web Site (TCW) is a 50 month grant to maintain and host a web site specifically designed to support CCC transfer counselors. Initually launched by a two-year pilot grant 2007-2009, a new fifty month grant was awarded May 1, 2009.
Transfer Awareness Campaign
San Diego Mesa College has been contracted to develop and implement a statewide Transfer Awareness Campaign that will educate middle and high school students, parents, counselors and administrators, as well as community college students about the college transfer option. The outreach campaign is designed to reach students and parents at an earlier stage to promote the viability and affordability of the community college option so they are academically prepared for transferable course work. Promotional materials were distributed to community college transfer centers during February of this year. This one time contract concluded April 30, 2009.
