1. Meeting Summaries:  Consultation Council will review the summary from the August 16, 2007 and September 20, 2007 meeting.

2. Revisions to the Disciplines List:  Consultation Council will discuss amendments to the disciplines list that is used to implement the minimum qualifications for employment of faculty and administrators at California Community Colleges.

3. Governmental Relations:  State and Federal Legislation: Consultation Council will receive an update on activity in the State Legislature and related activities by the administration. The Council will be advised of recently introduced legislation and may be asked to discuss recommendations for bill positions for the Board of Governors.

4. Board of Governors Energy Policy:  Consultation Council will discuss the energy and sustainability policy report developed by the System Office Facilities Unit.

5. Chaffey Community College District Fiscal Independence Request: Consultation Council will discuss Chaffey Community College District’s request for Fiscal Independence status pursuant to Education Code 85266.5.

6. 2007-08 Budget Act and the District Obligation for Full-Time Faculty Hires:  Consultation Council will discuss the district obligation for full-time faculty hires.

7. Assessment Task Force report:  Consultation Council will discuss the Assessment Task Force report.
8.  System Strategic Plan Update: Consultation Council will hear an update on the System Strategic Plan.
